FAQ
Epoxy Garage Floor Coating questions
Short answers about how the referral works and what to expect from a provider.
How does this work?
Send the form with a few details about your garage. We share your request with a local provider, who contacts you directly with availability and a quote.
Does it cost anything to ask?
No. Sending a request is free and there is no obligation to hire anyone.
How much does an epoxy garage floor cost?
National cost guides put professional epoxy for a two-car garage at roughly a thousand to a few thousand dollars, with polyaspartic systems costing more. Slab condition, repairs and finish change the number. Quotes vary; a provider who sees the floor gives the real number.
Why is concrete prep such a big deal?
The coating bonds to the surface, not to dirt, oil or old sealer. Grinding and repairing cracks give it something to grip. Poor prep is one of the most common reasons coatings peel.
Should my slab be tested for moisture?
Many coating makers publish moisture limits, and a wet slab can blister or peel a coating. Ask your provider whether they test and which method they use.
How long before I can park on it?
It depends on the coating. Polyaspartic systems often cure faster than epoxy, which can take days. Ask your provider for the product's own cure times.
Can I do it myself with a kit?
Kits cost less, but they take a full day or more of prep and application and involve vapors and skin contact hazards. Read the product's safety data sheet, ventilate and wear the protective gear it lists, or hire a provider.
Which areas are covered?
Greenville and nearby Pitt County communities listed on the service area page. Providers confirm coverage for your exact location.
